With a location for deployment in mind we look at the wave conditions, bathymetry and the local resources to design a Penguin suited to your location and needs. The free feasibility study you information such as an estimation for the sizeof the device, LCOE at the site, a baseline cost of the device and the energy production of the Penguin. Low Cost of Energy, high return of investment
The Penguin is deployed offshore, out of mind, away from the shoreline in all wave conditions. The exact size of the device is chosen accordingly to the local wave climate.
The device can be connected via smart hub to form a larger Wave energy park of multiple units. Each unit's nominal power can be matched to any wave climate, base models come in range of 500 kW to 1 MW nominal power. Devices can be altered to fit your wave climate.
The construction of The Penguin Wave Energy Converter can be carried out by one of our partners and towed to site. Once at the required destination the deployment of the device can be done by standard marine operation support vessels.
